![]() Later Gyro eats the scraps left behind as Humungus’ gang retreats* Max watches the gang warfare through a telescope. Max throws the can to the dog who bites Gyro trying to steal it. *Gyro spots Max eating the dog food and wants some too. Wi: How do they still have cans in the future? Max camps out with the dog with Dinki Di dog food* Max ties up Gyro to some dead tree and leaves him there. Gyro shows Max the tanker where the gas is and demands to be released. Lord Humungus is the leader of the gang trying to steal the gas and Wez pulls up with more intel. Max takes Gyro hostage and drives toward the depot with Gyro all tied up.* Gyro says if he kills him, he’ll never reveal the location. He begs for mercy and tells Max where to find a fuel depot. Gyro taunts him as Max reaches for a knife only to turn off the booby trap. Max drops the snake, crowbar and the shotgun. He grabs the snake as Gyro wakes up and tells him not to hurt the snake. He grabs a crowbar and walks toward the vehicle and sees a snake guarding it. *Max spots The Gyro Captain passed out in his vehicle. He was holding a music box which plays “Happy Birthday To You” Max remembers his family and drives off* ![]() One of the scavengers dies as a corpse falls out of the big rig. *Max pulls out a sawed off shotgun and Wez rides away. He screams and pulls it out as Max gathers the fuel* Max runs out with a gas cannister as Wez pulls up with an arrow in his arm. Max jacks the motor and causes the enemy car to flip and the roller derby buggy to smash into a pile of rubble. *Max hits the brake just in time for the gang to shoot each other. *Max is on the run from the gangsters until his fuel line goes off* *The Narrator says Max learned to live again on the road* The Narrator said cities burned and the gangs took to the highways to feast on prey. The world was once powered by oil until a world war wiped out the whole world. *Narrator goes into a monologue about how he remembers The Road Warrior, a man called Max. The only way we’re gonna find out is if I shut up and push play and I’m gonna do that right now. So while the film was still called Mad Max 2 in Australia, it was called The Road Warrior in the US. W: Why is this movie known only as The Road Warrior with no mention of Mad Max in the title? Well the first Mad Max completely bombed in its US release so they stripped the sequel of Mad Max in the title so film fans wouldnt think it was crap without watching it. Wi: Now tell everyone why this one is unique. That’s right, considered the best of the three, today will be Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior.
